Seattle Full Remodel

Seattle Full Remodel

This home had many original details that we were able to restore and maintain with the new design.

The coved ceilings, archways, original fireplace tile are all design aesthetics that make these old Seattle homes so sought after!

We added a small niche at the back of the kitchen that could be used for a coffee bar or simply sitting enjoying the sunshine. With some clever modifications we also added a reach in pantry with a barn door to make it aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. We added the arch here to make it look like this was the way it always was.

The 2nd floor was the challenge with adding an ensuite. The sloped ceiling definitely added some challenges. And at the same time offered us the opportunity to have an extra deep niche in the shower, taking advantage of the space offered.

Adding a little luxury by using the eave space again for some cabinetry and also an under counter beverage cooler. Perfect to have a coffee bar with creamer at your fingertips, or maybe a chilled bottle of wine for evenings!

The lower level had incredible ceiling height, we used this space for a family room, laundry area with built-in cabinetry and kept some original brick work in the powder bath as a nod to the early 1900’s construction.
