This home was in dire need of rescuing! After years of neglect and care it was a full renovation! Wonderful neighborhood and a large lot made it an easy decision to give this home a second life.
The home was only 690 sq. ft. on the main floor but offered another 690 sq. ft of lower level with good ceiling height, a total of 1,380 sq. ft.
Designing small spaces it’s important to include function and flow. This home had a wonderful backyard and by adding a deck off of the kitchen complemented with French doors it literally opens up the space for entertaining and lets in an abundance of natural light.
The lower level needed to do the heavy lifting of storage and extra family space, by making the laundry room bigger gave the ability for the homeowner to use this space for easy storage as well as an organized laundry room. We added a nice powder room for convenience as well.
